FRENCH OPEN NEWS: ANDY MURRAY CRASHES OUT AS RAFAEL NADAL SUFFERS 'BAD LUCK'

The French Open gets underway today with all the biggest stars in action at Roland Garros. In what could be Rafael Nadal's final appearance at Roland Garros, the 14-time champion faces a tricky first-round match against World No. 4 Alexander Zverev.

Nadal has long been expected to retire at the end of the year and will hope to bow out of the French Open in style. As too will Andy Murray, who gets underway on Sunday against long-term friend Stan Wawrinka.

Fellow Briton Jack Draper will also hope to go beyond the opening round for the first time. The 22-year-old faces Dutchman Jesper De Jong. Among the pick of the women's singles is a first-round clash between Ajla Tomljanovic and Australian Open semi-finalist Dayana Yastremska.
