INTER STAR TROLLS AC MILAN WITH STUNT AFTER TITLE WIN BEFORE HAILING 'UNCLE' THIERRY HENRY

Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram trolled local rivals AC Milan after the Nerazzurri clinched the Serie A title.

Thuram and Fancesco Acerbi both scored as Inter won the derby clash 2-1 and as they celebrated their title win, the forward covered up the AC Milan logo on the corner flag by draping his shirt over it.

Inter's victory saw them take an unassailable 17-point lead at the top of the table, meaning they have clinched the league title with five games left to go. And in an interview with CBS Sports after the win, Thuram shouted out his "best uncle" Thierry Henry.

"Today I'd like to thank my parents. I'd like to thank Thierry Henry, for all the advice he gave me and I hope this is only the start," he said. CBS reporter Marco Messina then asked: "I hear that you sometimes speak to Henry more than you do to your father sometimes?"

Thuram then replied: "Yeah he's like my best uncle. He's the uncle that is here for me to help me in good moments and bad moments. He always tells me the truth.

"And today I'd like to take the time to thank him because if I'm here it's because of him too."

Thuram's father Lilian lifted two Serie A titles with Juventus and Marcus' triumph means they are now the fourth father-son duo to have won the Scudetto.

"It's an honour," Marcus added. "It's an honour to be next my dad and walk in his footsteps, so I'm very proud again."

Inter boss Simone Inzaghi, who also won the league as a player with Lazio, hailed his team's "extraordinary" campaign. "It's a wonderful feeling, and we've done something incredible," the 48-year-old said.

"It's only right to share it with those who have played an important role, such as the players, the club and the president, who has always been there for us. I'm also thinking about my wife, my children and my parents, who have been vital for me.

"Every day, we work hard to improve. If I think back to my first year at Inter, I think you could already see good things, and then we won five trophies before the second star today. There's a real feeling of togetherness within the group, and the lads have been extraordinary.

"This morning, we trained hard in the rain, and this made the difference because Acerbi's goal was something we worked on in training. It's been a fantastic journey, and I had positive feelings when I arrived at Inter. Our fans deserve this victory."
