TYSON FURY EYEING OFF SHORE MANSION IN TAX HAVEN FULL TO THE BRIM WITH WEALTHY RESIDENTS

Tyson Fury's first thought after losing his era-defining unified world heavyweight championship match with Oleksandr Usyk was heading home to Britain as he looked to recover from a first professional defeat. However, the fighter could be on the move in the future, having previously eyed a move to the offshore tax haven of the Isle of Man.

The man known as 'The Gypsy King' will still be reeling from missing his chance to become the first boxer to unify the titles in his weight division since Lennox Lewis in 2000. Flying straight out of Saudi Arabia following the loss, he took his £34 million private jet back home to the UK, heading back to Morecambe.

Reunited with wife Paris and their children, he was spotted back in the Lancashire seaside resort running errands in his Nissan Navara pick-up truck just days after the spectacle in Riyadh. He currently resides in a lavish £1.7 million mansion in the town, with the property having featured previously on the Netflix special 'At Home With the Furys'.

A multi-millionaire due to his escapades in the ring, Fury also picked up a sum of £80 million for his participation in the fight versus Usyk. It appears that the Manchester-born star may have designs on moving at some point, though, having chartered a helicopter to view a sprawling £10,000-a-month home in the Isle of Man in December, according to the Mirror.

As per the report, Billown Manor - which is owned by Peel Holdings tycoon John Whittaker, on the outskirts of the village of Ballabeg was listed by the estate agent as: "One of the Isle of Man's most exclusive period homes. Beautifully appointed, extremely private and set in a manicured parkland and lakeside setting."

It boasts some six double ensuite bedrooms, alongside two self-contained two-bedroom flats and even what was described as a 'magnificent ballroom', as well as a swimming pool, gym and tennis court. Although Fury's representatives did not comment, a source informed the publication: "The owner, who has lived there for many years, is moving out and is advertising it to rent. It is one of the most impressive properties on the island."

Previously, the heavyweight boxer spoke openly about the prospect of potentially moving to the island, saying in 2022: "I was thinking about moving there. So I'll have a good scout around and see what I can see. It's only a few hours from Morecambe on the ferry, isn't it?"

Speaking after his recent loss versus Usyk, Fury admitted: "So we've punched the [...] out of each other for 12 rounds there. I'm going to go home, eat some food, drink some beers, have some family time, walk the dog, go to the tip. And me and Frank [Warren, Fury's promoter] will talk about what's going to happen in the future."

Clearly, the riches on offer in the fight game are not his primary concern nowadays, as he later confirmed: "I'm not boxing here because I've got no money. I'm boxing because I love it. Do you understand? I'm 36 in a few months and I've been boxing since I've been a child so it is what it is."

As for the prospect of stepping back into the ring with Usyk, promoter Frank Warren confirmed that the re-match will happen, informing the PA news agency: "There will be a rematch and that will be confirmed and announced in due course. I think it will be better than the original fight.

"They both know each other, they've shared the ring and they'll be looking to use what they've gained from the fight as an advantage to beat their opponent."
